Yes one small drop in the ocean causes ripples that flow outwardly and change everything in their path. We have no control over the effects of one small happening that we might not have even noticed happen.... A lovely thought written in free verse which can often be more expressive than strict form...

wow, the imagery here is wonderful and almost mystical as night falls and the cherub is still warm with life..

sometimes it's difficult to be a purist, especially with Japanese forms Colleen , so i would advise you to stick to the 57577 form which most English speaking poets use

A beautiful Rispetto prayer Shelley.

I enjoyed the "Rainbow coloured skies" in the opening line, it set the theme for the whole poem as we do look to the skies for inspiration..
