It's a horrible feeling waiting for rain that doesn't come day after day. If I could, I'd send you some of ours. It's been raining everyday for a long while now. And it just pours for the longest time when it does. Highly unusual, this kind of rain for us. Hope you get some rain soon.

The last stanza says it all, doesn't it? Who could take a look at the youngsters today and not think we should bring back at least a few things. Like (one of my favorites) children should be seen and not heard. Maybe that was taken to the extreme, but it wasn't entirely a bad idea in my estimation. ...
