Just For You Poetry

Early autumn days; still warm,
the coolness in the breeze;
pleasant evenings on the porch,
soon... the falling leaves.

A touch of summer still remains,
in the midday time of sun;
the shadows come in quicker,
when soon, the day is done.

The colors change so slowly,
then suddenly...they're here;
red and gold and brown,
the painting then appears.

The mists hang heavy in the morn,
the dew adorns the fading green;
and you are then transported,
to nature's transient scene.

Early autumn days; so sweet,
like honey on the vine;
like flocks of geese above,
like the taste of vintage wine.

A pleasure to be able to relax in to this beautiful autumn imagery, as i look out of my window the leaves here are falling in a myriad of gorgeous warm colours.
