Just For You Poetry

Thank you for this day Lord,
of life, of health and love;
I feel it coming gently down,
from sun and star-filled skies above.

From the views from hilltops,
from the turning of the seasons;
from the sunset and the sunrise,
they couldn't be more pleasing.

Thank you Lord, for this, my body,
the temple of the holy spirit;
I sing my praise to you in awe,
your knowledge brings me near it.

Keep me strong and on the path,
I find grace within your word;
treasure that is more than wealth,
wondrous music I've not heard.

Thank you, Lord, for all your blessings,
in their touch, I go toward you;
growing in your wisdom daily,
toward a world I never knew.

This is a very beautiful prayer.
