Believe

Postby Cindy » Sat Nov 08, 2014 6:49 pm

Believe
It's everywhere
On plaques
In little wooden letters on a shelf
written on a notebook
Graffiti on a wall

Sometimes it wears glitter
And tiny daisies
Sometimes bright paint

People love believe
They proclaim it with a smile
It's the best news on the planet

Believe

But there it is again
Do you see it?
Just like the wooden letters on a shelf

Believe
With nothing behind it
...like a path that leads nowhere.

Lovely poem. A person needs belief, and few people have the same set of beliefs. The world is an empty place without it. I believe in Father Christmas, so I'm looking forward to the big night.

Sometimes when I see the signs to believe, I think it means to believe in ourselves. Believe in ourselves and care about others and know how we treat others positively can make a difference in their lives. I really enjoy reading a poem that makes me think and I do appreciate this delightful write Cindy.

Yes, we need to believe I think. Like hope, sometimes critical for existence for many.a wonderful read Cindy, hard hitting too.
