Just For You Poetry

It shines out from the face that I haven't seen in years
The distance between "now" and "then"...
It glares like the sun
Blinding and sharp


We speak almost as strangers
"Then" is all we know of one another
A far away place and time

We talk a while
Standing on different shores
And touching hands across an ocean.
