Just For You Poetry

One day for you Lord,
is like a thousand years;
You gave us ample time,
to nullify our fears.

To make the choice to live,
and forever banish death;
to honor You with praise,
until our last, great breath.

To shed this carnal flesh,
and with Spirit, worship You;
to be the sons of liberty,
and transform our minds anew.

There's true mercy in Your thoughts,
true forgiveness evermore;
we only wish to serve You Lord,
as we pass that final door.

You're the Potter, Father,
and we... Your human clay;
shape and mold us like Your Son,
so that with You, we might stay.
