Just For You Poetry

Lord, remember me when I have lost my way,
when darkness dims the light of everyday;
when I struggle, to keep it all together,
keep me on that straight and narrow measure.

Guide my hands, to care for those in need.
help me foster love and share its saving seed;
keep me strong from my foes and enemies,
to serve up truth and in your temple please.

You are the light that never fades from view,
giving understanding, that once I never knew;
giving me wisdom to make the rightful choice,
giving me the song to praise your name in voice.

Let me share, the power, that only You can bring,
to ward off, the devil's constant sting;
shelter me, when the times are rough,
of Your word and truth; I cannot get enough.

Lord, You are a lamp unto my tired feet,
facing up to challenges I often meet;
a welcomed blessing in the darkest night,
the harbinger of all that's good and right.

A well rhymed piece indeed.
