What is love but the meeting of two minds?
discovering joy, the selfish never finds;
enjoying daily, a loving warm embrace,
kisses showered upon the other's face.

To know that she will stand right by your side,
to know that he, from you, will never hide;
to share the happiness that now, you've found,
a love to cherish and wrap your arms around.

What is love but the linking of two hearts?
always mindful of where your love did start;
the magic moment when you just knew,
when the eager soul took off and flew.

The moment that the eyes gave forth that glow,
and like a gentle stream, that love did flow;
the moment that you gave your self away,
when you realized that it was here to stay.

What is love but two young and yearning lovers?
where the spirit of contentment always hovers;
where the understanding finally comes at last,
where the future's more important that the past.
