Just For You Poetry

What's a well without pure water?
purity gives life its grace;
what's a person with no smile?
just another person's face.

But a smile brings out one's beauty,
it's lies dormant until then;
and the mind itself is hidden,
with a smile, a mystery ends.

What's a heart without some love?
love needs nothing in return;
it's given out of charity,
if you can but discern.

If you see someone that's hurting,
why then, you need to lend a hand;
if someone's "fallen" down,
then surely you must help them stand.

What's a soul without compassion?
empathy for those oppressed;
give them all the love you have,
for that gift, you'll both be blessed.

This is a wonderful poem and a great reminder to be compassionate. Truly, what is a soul without compassion?
