I'm a stranger on this earth,
waiting for the dawn of day;
when war, hate and anger,
will no longer have a sway.
When the curses and the hurt,
will be tokens of the past;
when love will be fulfilled,
and peace and joy will last.
I'm a pilgrim on this soil,
a soul that longs for God;
that patiently awaits the one,
that rules with a divine rod.
Whose mercy far exceeds,
the rule of mortal men;
whose crown is always there,
whose power has no end.
I'm a stranger on this earth,
awaiting resurrection;
from flesh and carnal man,
to a member of God's section.
