Just For You Poetry

As I gambled with this life
fame and fortune never kissed me;
Fears, frustrations, doubts and strife
seldom missed me.

Say I'm weary, say I'm sad
say at times this world depressed me,
Through these failings, let me add-
Life has blessed me

Perhaps, this would be a proper eulogy
for many, if we are thankful enough.

A significant, and searching eulogy. You're quite right. I suppose that many feel this way. I know that I often do. Sometimes in life, the mud pies outnumber the strawberry tarts. .
