Just For You Poetry

Too long at the mirror,
choosing clothes of fashion;
with things of little matter,
is wealth your greatest passion?

Have you not the urge to give?
to those with simpler needs?
have you become obsessed,
to what your ego feeds?

Have you set aside your soul,
to follow after lust?
shrugged aside relationships,
because you couldn't trust?

Then you're too much with this world,
and not so much with God;
are you stalling, just because,
some folks might think you odd?

God is love and so are we,
if in His steps we walk;
if we praise His Holy name,
and of His truth, we talk.

The last stanza finishes it nicely. Very enjoyable poem.
