Just For You Poetry

There must be days of darkness,
to appreciate the sun;
there must be fields of green grass,
in which young colts can run.

There must be worried minds,
before happiness can reign;
there must be fallow ground,
that anticipates the rain.

There must be paths to trouble,
in our life... along the way;
there must be dejection,
before the love can stay.

There must be burdens looming,
before the load is shed;
there must be hurtful sayings,
before kind words are said.

There must be nights of pain,
before the hurt is gone;
and there must be deaf ears,
before we hear God's song.

There must be indeed,the gain is worth the pain.

An expressive and an evocative write.

The bad things in life do make the good things so much brighter. Lovely.
