Just For You Poetry

Wishing you were here again,
so nights are not too long;
so I could feel your warmth,
as we sang our old love song.

Wishing you were close again,
to take in your embrace;
to hold you... oh so tight,
plant kisses on your face.

Wishing you were mine again,
so my days were not so short;
so I could touch your hand,
and not have to abort.

Wishing you were part of me,
that never knew an end;
that never reached a barrier,
so that my heart would mend.

Wishing you were here again
so that my soul could heal;
so that my fears would fly,
so my senses, they could feel.

Sad, but beautifully written. One can feel the longing in the words.
