First Blush

‘neath the soft light of the moon
slowly, sensual, shy
is her awakening.
Inside twilight whispers the
poetry of her sweet
innocence breathes
and in the fullness of
precious moments
she blossoms
into the first blush of morning
and seeps into the sky
as dawn breaks .
She caresses the new day
then silently slips
away with the stars.

This is so beautiful. I love the last stanza. The image of the moon and stars slipping off together and leaving us with the morning sky - a lovely thought.
