2016 - Thoughtful Reflections

Today is a new day and a new beginning
With new opportunities to improve and care
With new hopes, dreams and wishes
And new decisions to make and live with
Opportunities come in different colors and shapes
And our dreams unfold bit by bit in front of us
Showing miracles and reality of the new beginning
Where time slowly dissolves into eternity
In this journey, life takes some unexpected turns
So in those moments don't panic, freeze or quit
Find peace and solace in silence and pray deeply
And ask your Merciful Lord to lead your way
Look carefully and say a gratitude prayer with a smile
Focus on things that you can change and improve today
Pass on kindness and love and it shall come back to you
Wipe tears and share smiles and you will never be alone
Always find ways to make a difference in someone's life
Learn to focus on today and live in the present moment
Find silver lining in the deep dark stormy clouds
And draw rainbow on the sky after the storm is over
Establish a strong connection with God Almighty
That'll give your heart and soul a spiritual uplift
Feel God's presence in your life and kneel before Him
Be gentle and humble in your words and deeds
Remember only Lord can take away your lingering pain
And can clear the mist that is melting in the morning light
Only He has the power to clear paths and remove obstacles
So bow before Him and ponder upon reflecting thoughts......
