Just For You Poetry

God’s garden is a temple of my love
so peaceful, calm and beautiful to know
with lovely lilies favourite foxglove
and roses red that set my heart aglow

I sense your presence on the morning breeze
and feel your whispers as they kiss my face
oh, then I close my eyes and pray ” God please
keep safe my blessed angel in this place”

For here we are at one with all that is
in birth and death the seasons come and go
and from my vision you are lost but this
will not be for always and this we know

The sweet rain falls as kind tears from my eyes
so soft and gentle, true love never dies
