Beauty's Way.

Lost in dense night of idle imaginings when
drowning in false thinking's
dark abyss find Beauty who kindly restores
intent to climb back to reality.

Beauty hides in season's events, she lurks
behind every bird-melody,
shares with listeners her voice in streams,
whispers in rustling leaves,
lows with cattle, patters in drizzle and sings
duo with wind in the eaves.

She freckles the paths of dappled woods,
patterns shells, clothes chicks,
colours dropped curtains when sun sets,
snows tops of winter hills,
ridges sand when tide ebbs, blankets the
hedges in wild flowers and
creates swept blue of forget-me-not skies.

Beauty magnifies gems to those watching
for nature's show, she bends
to suffuse minds this trainer of souls, like
rose-scent drenches air she
enters awe-struck moments and there her
presence gives pleasure
by beauty's way toward Godly perception.
