Just For You Poetry

I shut my eyes and You are there,
I open them and there You stand;
You can ease my worried care,
the evidence of You is grand.

I see You in the early light,
when shadows lose their hold;
You grace me with Your vivid sight,
that appears, so bright and bold.

I send my troubles off to You,
do with them what You will;
what bothers me, You always knew,
I feel Your presence when I'm still.

Your music fills my empty heart,
with songs from You on high;
You gave to me a brand new start,
and now my tortured soul can fly.

I shut my eyes and You are there,
I open them and there You stand;
You answer all my rightful prayer,
You touch me with Your guiding hand.
