2016 - A Real Moment of Connection

Postby Seema Chowdhury » Tue May 03, 2016 1:57 pm

We all have poignant stories and sadness of our own
We bear distress and doubts and we quietly mourn

We all have to walk through dark tunnels in this life
Where bitterness and scary moments sure do survive

But in such a time don't give up, slow down or just quit
We know that life is not always fair, easy or a perfect fit

So we all have to humbly pray and ask our Dear God
To lit a candle of hope and connect us to joy's chord

Just accept all that come with serenity and peace
Don't grieve or show anger just gracefully there freeze

Pray to the Gracious Lord and try to connect with Him
Moment by moment and step by step with care and Vim

The process of healing is very long and bitter at times
So have lots of patience and with grace sing hope's rhyme

And open your heart, your mind and your beautiful soul
And let them absorb sunshine to wipe away pain and dole

Just make a real moment of connection with our Dear God
Who is our Gracious, Merciful, Caring and Beloved Lord

Who can help and hold our doubtful and shaking hands
And walk through dark tunnels with unbreakable hope's band.

Have a Nice and a Blessed Day!

We all have a sad story to tell and your poem is a great reminder not to feel sorry for ourselves. Very encouraging.

"The process of healing is very long and bitter at times

And open your heart, your mind and your beautiful soul
And let them absorb sunshine to wipe away pain and dole"

This really resonated with me Seema , and i am sure it will with others who sometimes find it hard to forgive, but forgive you must in the end in order to move on... :)
