This pink and white beauty blossoms for me
with a pretty and delicate bouquet
she is my lovely Magnolia tree

Her peaceful petal cups sway silently
and as spring breezes caress them in May
this pink and white beauty blossoms for me

Her fragrance light and tender as can be
when she spreads leaves in delicate display
she is my lovely Magnolia tree

But only for a short while will i see
the enchantment that i savour today
this pink and white beauty blossoms for me

Kissing her sweetly is a honey bee
he will taste her nectar then fly away
she is my lovely Magnolia tree

so for the next few days i can foresee
that in my garden only i shall stay
this pink and white beauty blossoms for me

Beautiful poem. I've always loved Magnolia trees. A neighbor or ours has one. It's breathtaking when in full bloom.
