Lonely
Shadows just like
Fresh phantoms greet the night
Graveside

Stretching
Their long fingers
Lengthening bony arms
Touching

They blend
With the darkness
Casting doubts like restless
Spirits

Causing
Those who would pass
To hesitate, glance and
Wonder

Perhaps
The sleeping ones
Really do rise at night
To play
