We're a world, that's out of orbit,
a racing star that's gone awry;
blazing in the darkened night,
burning brightly, as we die.
Left behind, an unknown God,
we treat sin as no big deal;
but around us, life is fading,
and it makes the dull mind reel.
Sin is absent, never mentioned,
gone the choice of right and wrong;
and tolerance no longer need,
we stumble as we go along.
Only change will turn the corner,
repentance from the depth of heart;
transformation of our nature,
can give us, the wanted start.
We're a world, that's out of orbit,
spinning madly in the sky;
knowing not the final answer,
nor the rhyme or reason why.
