Sipping On Roses

Roses drenched in pink are best
For eyes all parched from snow
The journey into Summer Land
Is arduous and slow
The petals glisten fresh with pink
They quench the thirsting eye
The healthy glow of lip and cheek
A hunger satisfies
Eyes guzzle at the fountain, brisk
Of blossoms, reckless pink
To saturate this appetite
There is no better drink
My arid eyes now doused in blooms
A tippler, I must be
So greedy, I still drink them up
There's not enough for me.
For eyes all parched from snow
The journey into Summer Land
Is arduous and slow
The petals glisten fresh with pink
They quench the thirsting eye
The healthy glow of lip and cheek
A hunger satisfies
Eyes guzzle at the fountain, brisk
Of blossoms, reckless pink
To saturate this appetite
There is no better drink
My arid eyes now doused in blooms
A tippler, I must be
So greedy, I still drink them up
There's not enough for me.
