Just For You Poetry

Tears are silent words
not needing to be heard or scribed,
for they are not long or short,
clever or awkward;
they don’t stutter or mislead,
being born only of love
alive inside our hearts.

Pure and perfect vessels of emotion
slowly they rise and emerge
through blinking barriers
that no longer hold fast
in watery seas of blue.

Tears never lie, chastise or hurt
they simply speak in honest persuasion
with no pretense or intent.

Tears.
