A Summer Day

Postby ShelleyA » Fri Jul 22, 2016 1:10 pm

What a wonderful day,
let's go outside and play;
there is no more to say.

The sky is blue, not gray
and sun shines bright today—
what a wonderful day.

Now summer does convey
its beautiful display,
let's go outside and play.

You won’t be led astray
when having fun your way…
there is no more to say.

Very fun to read. I also enjoyed the rhyme scheme you chose.
