In The Early Morning Light

In the early morning light
Across the dewy lawn
I watch as a bunny eats clover

He slipped under the fence
Then timidly hopped
In the early morning light

He looked hungrily
At the wildflowers
Across the dewy lawn

Now I linger over my coffee
And gaze out the window...
I watch as a bunny eats clover.

Form: Cascade

A lovely write about the adventure of this rabbit in early morning. A skillfully crafted Cascade; perfect form. Vivid imagery. Good color and shading of your words that promotes and evokes emotion. You paint a delightful picture of this scene that any reader can appreciate and see in their mind's eye. Flow and line to line transition and breaks are done well. Nice rhythm. Lovely depth of feeling. Well penned and an enjoyable read. Write on.
