Just For You Poetry

Plop...
a drop captured
in a sea of time and space,
ripples that will touch many lives,
sometimes insignificantly
yet barely noticed—

for others it's life changing,
cause and effect,
a force that moves one
in ways that were never expected,
affects that echo into the future
in which control is lost;

a never ending ripple
causing havoc because
life happens,
the end result of the ripple effect
with hope and faith being the only
things that bring you through it.


Form: Free Verse

Yes one small drop in the ocean causes ripples that flow outwardly and change everything in their path. We have no control over the effects of one small happening that we might not have even noticed happen....

A lovely thought written in free verse which can often be more expressive than strict form..thank you Shelley

Food for thought just a little ripple which travels o and on just like our lives, not knowing where the next one will take us - a short distance perhaps, or into an ocean far and wide - let's call it the sea of life. PLOP .................
