Oh
if ever blessing stalked a late dawn,
brought to each morning excess beauty,
made clandestine contact exciting news,
sought all chances for feeling reborn,
Oh
if ever lovers coveted bliss,
lived for hearing soul-mate voicemail
embedded in time's secret hide-away,
revelled in new unrestrictions,
Oh
if ever candle's nectar-bright
light burned with contented employ,
made coupled grass flat in climax joy,
caressed with care another's life.
Oh
if ever two planned each second
together and made vows to look forward,
felt patience would someday gift reward
of waiting the day, it was then.
