Just For You Poetry

If I gave my love to you,
would you handle it with care?
would you give it due respect,
can I count it, being there?
If I gave you my tomorrows,
would it happen everyday?
would you tender all my dreams,
on those days when you're away?
Does your love include those moments,
when your hand's enclosed in mine?
when our hearts and souls are one,
not just now, but all the time?
Will you treat our love with truth,
and not deny it with a lie?
and can you be, but honest,
and succeed, not only try?
Then I'll give my love to you,
knowing happiness will reign;
knowing that the days ahead,
our minds will be the same.

A beautiful write about love and what it means in a relationship. Heartfelt and thoughtful. Well crafted rhyming poetry which I enjoy. Good flow and line to line transition and breaks. Very nice rhythm. Rhyming is done well. Lovely depth of feeling. Well penned and a much enjoyed read. Write on.

This has a such a lovely lilt to it that it is almost like a song that Doris Day sang "If i gave my heart to You" so i was singing it really..
