My Little Angel
She sits in wonder
The innocence of a child
Watching the butterfly
Skip over the waters tide
Telltale images quiver by
Dressed prettily for her birthday
So delightful, so cute
The wonder of a child
As if painted in a book
Tomorrow her birthday
A very special day
She would dance through fairy rings
A little girl at play
So happy and content
She floats into a land of dreams
To a wonderland where Angels
Weave magical delicate wings
Did mummy know their secret
When making wings for her
and the pretty garland of flowera
placed neatly in her hair
The butterfly comes closer
colours quite divine
the Angels must have sent her
as a birthday surprise
Such a perfect picture
