The moon danced, stars shone bright
Twinkling in the midnight sky
The softest wind hushed a lullaby
A Serenade of love into the night
A ray of sunshine enters my soul
Giving me hope a new way of life
You have become my world
Love of my hearts sweet desire
The freshness of the evening air
Yielding and gentle within the breeze
The carpeted earth beneath our feet
So beautiful the world to me
I have waited for you so long
Now you walk beside me
Cradled in your arms
Protected within your warmth
Lulled together in contented peace
My life is now complete
