Just For You Poetry

You are the anchor of my soul,
the rock; I lean, upon;
in You, there is safe harbor,
that keeps from all wrong.
You are the lifeboat of my heart,
that keeps me free from sin;
that forgives in gracious mercy,
where these feet have been.
You are the captain of my mind,
that guides me on the path;
that shelters me from evil,
and from Your righteous wrath.
You are the treasured mooring,
where I'm secure from winds;
the cove of peaceful happiness,
that never... ever... ends.
You are the anchor of my soul,
where my content resides;
away from earth's great chaos,
of arrogance and pride.
