Just For You Poetry

Trampled beneath feet
Yellow, Brown and bleeding leaves
Occasional green
Summer snared on random boughs
Leaching sunny dreams
Warm smiles on friendly faces
Tenacious season
Clings like gum to my faint soul
It's scent in the autumn air.
