Blessed to be Broken

You need to be broken
to find the light
to be weak before you
can be strong
you have to get lost
to find yourself
on a path that was
there all along
perfection is just a
hollow vessel
a beautiful voice
devoid of song
you need to know failure
before you can win
and that to weep
is never wrong
you should never have to
prove your worth
trust your instinct to
be right all along
just be yourself shine
in the light
you will find blessings
your whole lifelong
