Just For You Poetry

The winds blow, the rain falls,
as Nature sings her song;
the trees bend, the air, it howls,
the daylight dies, the nights grow long.

December rules the season,
the cold approaches...fast;
we hibernate to still the time,
we know it cannot last.

A new year lies awaiting,
the world turns unperturbed;
it does not notice changes,
what winter has disturbed.

We dress warm and toasty,
through layers of clothes we breathe;
we face winter stoically,
when it ends, we do not grieve.

All life returns in Spring,
the sap in us gets running;
and so return the endless joys,
that in winter, we've been shunning.

Knowing that the seasons will come full circle gives us something to hope for and look forward to, i like winter... each season has its own beauty
