Christmas ~trijan refrain

Postby Stella » Wed Dec 21, 2016 6:11 pm

Such a magical time of year
when children hope and pray
that someone they hold very dear
will soon be on his way.
Father Christmas sings “Ho ho ho”
he and Rudolph sleigh through the snow.
Father Christmas
Father Christmas
down all the chimneys he will go.

Christmas morning after he’s been
and left his sacks of toys
some hoof-prints in the snow are seen,
“Rudolph” cry girls and boys.
Lots of presents under the tree
the little ones can’t wait to see
lots of presents
lots of presents
wrapped with love very carefully.

Then the turkey and Christmas pudd,
toast each other with wine;
everyone eats more than they should
at Christmas that’s just fine.
Have a mince pie that’s filled real deep,
pull a cracker a gift to keep
have a mince pie
have a mince pie
then all the grown-ups fall asleep.

A Trijan Refrain so magically crafted and Ernesto Cortazar adds to make it even more magical. My favourite part is 'lots of presents wrapped with love very carefully' and the last line really makes me smile thank you Stella!
