LACE NETTING

(Ten Word Stanzas)

Sea spills through netting
black lacing tide
with
intumescing
power.

Lovers witness spumescent sea’s
roped squares bathing
beneath
ballooning
moon.

Her black bikini drifts
sifting sand’s candescence
underneath
profiterole
cloudscape.

Champagne water licks, clinks
crystal kisses down
undercurrent’s
opalescent
bed.

Love effervesces starlight scales,
blackfishes flip blazed
morning
Star’s
Sunup.

Next evening spellbound sea’s
lace netting throbs
bioluminescent
clandestine
chiffon.

What beautiful metaphors Karin, you have portrayed the sea wonderfully and the profiterole clouds are just that in my imagination.

The stanzas go from her power to her beauty to her secretive softness ...just beautiful.
