How exquisite the wild red rose
no other flower can compare,
her own sweet choosing where she grows
by woodland path or meadows fair.
Pretty petals open to share
enchantment so fragile and free,
gentle fragrance wafts on the air
as the wind sways her tenderly.

This is so beautiful, Stella. I love it. I plan on writing another Huitain using this rhyming pattern. I do like it better. I chose the other, because no one in the poetic exploration group on AP had chosen to use it yet. I just have to be different. :-)
