air resplendently silver
frosty snowflakes glint

when starlight shimmers
mother moon glows with pleasure
in dark velvet skies

moon casts her magic
on smooth ebbing midnight tide
stars become spellbound

mother moon watches
twilight casting long shadows
sleepy trees stretch limbs
