Shall we pluck intensity from the air and coil
it into ethereal letters
with sheets of white canvas where awaits our
love-ballads or fiery laments
with Museful meaning and sharpened pen ?
Shall we take poetic flight, you and I ?
Untried dimensions wait to take us to good
morning metaphors,
as we catch sight of food's verbose plate so
designed for bards who
delight in causing a stir at wordy breakfast.
Let us capture euphoria's feel and write of
glorious rapture today,
let loose untamed passion at first embrace
with the Muse then
pen with the ecstasy our hearts will taste.
Shall we wed word to page you and I ?

Shall we indeed Fay my friend, I want to take flight today and pluck those ethereal letters from the sky, I just love your wonderful imagination, alliteration and the poetic journey of your muse.... Fantastic poetry.
