Just For You Poetry

...and as we go through
boxes of decorations
baubles and lights
we pause to feel
the emptiness
left by those we´ve lost
this year,
those we shared
such good times with
those we loved so dear,
we´ll raise a glass
toast their names
include them in our day,

after all, that´s what
Christmases are for...
