Night Light

Postby Tom Balch » Tue Dec 09, 2014 1:35 pm

You seem
to travel with me
skipping fields
mile after mile,
in the black of night
as large as life
through bare branch trees
you peek at me,
you´re always there
to light my way
you make me
on my lonely journey smile,
skimming hedgerows
with me this night
mile after dark and lonely mile,
I feel that I could reach
and touch you
as you shine bright
white winter’s bulb
deity of the night sky
la lunar silver orb

She is beautiful isn't she Tom, specially on a really dark, clear night when she seems to be playing games and peeping at you through the trees..

A lovely write... :o)

The slow flow of your tribute to night's Madame Luna describes her white company so very well Tom - -weird but she seems to be whiter in winter. A lovely read.
