You don’t care,
I know that now.

The pain you caused
Wasn’t always bearable

Now, you have another kid;
Another partner.

And you couldn’t be happier,
Sadly, I’m glad you’re not here.

I sometimes wondered,
‘What if you came back?’

What would I do or say?
It’s simple really, ‘go away.’

So take it as read,
Your face has faded from our mind.

Now, stay away, leave us be,
We’re happy without you…
