An Attractive Bird

Postby stevenstirk » Mon Dec 15, 2014 6:23 pm

First plucked from obscurity
And seeking job security
And thinking that you had it made
You couldn't leave, and so you stayed
With many more unwilling guests
Your lovely legs and massive breasts
Had left the farmer in a spin
And he approached you in the din
You'd thought he had his eye on you
But he was fowl and now you knew
When he approached that starry night
His hands were spoiling for a fight
And as anticipation grew
The pretty bird that once was you
Had gobbled down her last repast
Then saw the farmer closing fast
Betrayal came; she hit the deck
The farmer broke the turkeys neck
:(

Oh such a sad end to a pretty bird - - your witty rhymes are always second to none Steve - - great read.
