Some Birds In The Waiting Room

Postby stevenstirk » Wed Dec 17, 2014 2:06 pm

I've got redbreasts said the 'Robin'
I've been to the doctors today
The Doc said I'm fit
But he acts like a 'tit'
And I told him just that...anyway"

A 'blackbird' opined she had sunstroke
And said that she once was a 'dove'
A bird in the bush
Said his wife had got 'thrush'
And that's why they no longer made love

A 'woodpeckers'' beak had been broken
He said that he'd been rather ill
And with no ifs or buts
He had not had his nuts
So the Doctor just gave him a 'bill'

The 'wagtails' poor tail had gone static
The 'blue tit' said he was in bits
Cos he's not well endowed
And is not therefore proud
Like his cousins the well named 'great tits'

The 'swallow' had said that he couldn't
and the 'rook' who was stark 'raven' mad
Had developed 'whitethroat'
Eating meal worm d' hote
With a 'pheasant', unpleasant and bad

The Doctor, an owl from the woodland
Said ...."All of you get on my wick
You're 'swift' to complain
Of each illness or pain
And I don't think you're all really sick"....
