Just For You Poetry

The sweet blush of morning as it awakens
sweeps delicately across the incipient sky
in the crystalline echo of cool whispers

Here translucence is but for a short while,
clarity changes soon to soft opalescence
in the dawning of gentle, pink pastel hues
arising from the warm coverlet of sleepiness

Savoured moments,
a prelude to sunrise, to quietly embrace.

Would that I could I would hold this memory
bringing it forth whenever my soul desired.
Replacing the heat of daytime mania,
and the dark curtain that enshrouds my nights.

Would that time could stand still for me in
the sweet blush of morning as it awakens
