Life Of A Visionary

A man who logic oft defied
Made boiled eggs he grilled not fried
And for the Scots he later built
A scotch egg with a tartan kilt

From needles he removed the eyes
And sewed them on to stale pork pies
And thus, unto the pies delight
Restored the gift of perfect sight

And on each clock he never failed
To give the fingers, finger nails
And though nobody really cared
He made each second finger...third

For lemons in distress he made
A pick me up called lemon..aid
I heard that no-one understood
They said his ideas weren't that good

He died, a most unhappy bloke
His ashtray for none- smoking folk
Sold none at all...with that in mind
His hearing aid to aid the blind

Was mentioned in his epitaph
'Hear lies the man whose stuff was naff
A man surpassed in life by none
Invented crap...Thank God he's gone '!!
