Anticipation.

Oh land of my habitation,
your roots all seasons beautify
while you like covered salutation
most comfortably in winter lie
prostrate in your nakedness,
ice-bellied at times but sheltered
your limbs dilate in anticipation
of early Spring kisses melting
to sate you in gratification.

Warmth will call forth your name
and Cornwall's bosom will shake
open, elated and blooming again.

"early spring kisses melting to sate you" is so beautiful Fay.
Your beloved Cornwall will soon be in full bloom again..

Fay- This truly classic. It seems to sing itself right off the page. You sated my desire for
some rhyme. I have been in love with England all my life. Much beauty in this poem and
in your land.Your use of imagery makes for splendid results

How you adore your Cornwall life and how I admire the beauty within your personified poetic words. I have read it three times and the closing stanza is stunning Fay.
